On the right there, you will see some of the work that I have done. This includes a bit of web design and a few logo designs too. The websites that are shown have various different attributes associated with them. Some are designed to be for the purpose of having an e-commerce aspect of the web built in, whilst others would implement different tools such as search catalogues and property indexing.

I aim to make all of my designs different in the way that they appear, so that each website is suited to what the individual or company is doing. Some aspects of the page are restricted by the platform that they are built on, but the majority of items can be customised. If you click on a thumbnail, a larger image will open. This gives you a nice image that is bigger than that tiny one sat there at the moment.

Christmas Gifts

The financial aspect of christmas just passed, proved to be a little tight when it came to buying presents for people this year, so me and my girlfriend Kirstin, decided to make our own range of gifts. We came up with the idea of creating a few items for beauty and some for food based too. At first we thought that this would be fine. Then we decided that the gifts looked a little bland on their own - so I took it upon myself to create our own brand. This was either JK Kitchen or JK Beauty. (The J + K symbolise our first initials ... for anyone that needed clarification)

The images at the end of the gallery are a select few of the items that we created, and show the various items either on their own or as a group. The idea was to try and achieve a classy, professional look, so the logo was important to get the overall brand identity correct. The items themselves needed to look good, as well as being long lasting too. The bath salts, foot scrubs and chilli oils used adhesive, clear paper (usually used for car window stickers). It was then just a case of printing them out and sticking them onto the items. Lining up the labels to be straight proved harder than first expected!

I was really impressed with how they turned out and I would very much like to do something similar again. Who knows what people will receive next December!
